LONDON -- Chinese investment companies Harvest Alternative Investment Group and Sun Redrock Investment Group have joined forces to form a media fund targeted to raise $800 million of capital. The fund, dubbed Harvest Seven Stars Media Fund, aims to invest in filmed entertainment and cinema. It will invest in three distinct areas: mergers and acquisitions, marketing and distribution, and content. Investment focus will be aimed primarily at English-language Chinese co-productions.
