Film Commissioners announce Locations show

The Assn. of Film Commissioners Intl. holds its Locations Show on June 15-16 in the La Convention Center. The big event will run at the same time using the opening weekend from the La Film Festival, held June 14-24 at venues focused on the adjacent L.A. Live complex. ''Film Commissions aren't nearly locations,'' stated AFCI Executive Director, Martin Cuff. ''Our annual trade event provides a unique opportunity to talk with these Film Commissions who with each other provide over $2.5 billion in annual funding. We are very looking forward to our move downtown, developing a genuine worldwide village in the La Film Festival.'' Pilot Season: Roseanne Reunion! John Goodman to Star in NBC's Roseanne Barr Comedy

Roseanne Barr, John Goodman Roseanne and Serta John Goodman are finally returning! Goodman has grew to become part of the cast of Barr's new NBC pilot Downwardly Mobile, TVGuide.com has learned. WB sets rewrite of 'Jetsons' script

Warner Bros. has drawn on "Chewie" scribes Van Robichaux and Evan Susser to rewrite its bigscreen version of TV toon "The Jetsons." Jesse P Line and Denise Di Novi are creating the live-action feature, that the latter continues to be developing for over a decade with a variety of authors. Most lately, Adam F. Goldberg have been penning the script. Story will focus on the Hanna-Barbera show, which revolved round the existence and occasions of George, Jane, Judy and Elroy Jetson. Harvest, Sun Redrock launch $800 mil film fund

LONDON -- Chinese investment companies Harvest Alternative Investment Group and Sun Redrock Investment Group have joined forces to form a media fund targeted to raise $800 million of capital. The fund, dubbed Harvest Seven Stars Media Fund, aims to invest in filmed entertainment and cinema. It will invest in three distinct areas: mergers and acquisitions, marketing and distribution, and content. Investment focus will be aimed primarily at English-language Chinese co-productions. The fund, now one of China's largest media funds, is negotiating filmmaker deals, three of which are expected to be announced in the next 30 days. More to follow... Foote fest at Primary Stages

Four plays put together by a couple in the Foote family together with a revival of "All inside the Timing" are saved to tap for your 2012-13 season at Off Broadway's Primary Stages.
