Jeffrey Nordling To Co-Star in Lives Melanie Griffith Pilot American Housewife
EXCLUSIVE: 24 alum Jeffrey Nordling continues to be drawn on to co-star opposite Melanie Griffith in Lifetime’s drama pilot American Housewife, which Griffith is executive creating with husband/creating partner Antonio Banderas. Youthful actress Kacey Rohl has been cast within the pilot, written/executive created by Erik Jendresen according to a concept by him and Banderas, as well as executive created by Ray Ricord. Directed by David Slade and created by Fox TV Galleries, American Housewife focuses on Leila (Griffith), a apparently perfect housewife living the American Dream within an affluent neighborhood, married to wealthy up-and-coming politician Stanford (Nordling) with whom she's three grown or almost-grown children. Rohl will have the youngest, Harper, 17, a higher-school National Recognition student that has a crush on a single of her father’s campaign aides. Leila’s existence is stuffed with chaos, but recently even her quiet moments aren't so quiet — she’s begun hearing a voice, also it’s declaring that things she doesn’t need to know. Nordling, who's recurring on ABC’s Body Of Proof, is repped by APA that also reps Rohl, together with Red-colored Management.
